Recycling guide for Gainesville, Florida

>> 7/8/10

An excellent recycling guide for Gainesville Florida is available online . With summer being the season that many people move and need to weed out excess ‘stuff’ in their home, many people ask me what to do with their unwanted items. I encourage my professional organizing clients to avoid tossing things into a trash can, even though that is so easy to do and usually their first impulse. Instead I suggest they take an extra minute to figure out the proper place to dispose of the item because things that are sent to the dump become a problem for the environment. Donating items that are in good condition to charity is a good first step. Other items, that are in poor condition and recyclable, should be disposed of properly. Gainesville, Florida has a very detailed, "A-Z" indexed, and easy to use recycling guide. If you live in another city or state search the Internet for your locale and you'll probably find a similar guide online.

Taking an extra minute to ponder where to properly dispose of your unwanted items can bless the lives of others who are currently needy in your community now and can also help the earth in the future.
